Hi Amy, I found your blog via one of the MOPS moms's blogs. I can't actually remember whose, because I kept stumbling on more and more blogs with each additional one I visited. Love the signs! One of my favorite church signs was from a church just down the road from us. It said, "Where will you spend eternity? Smoking or non-smoking?" I guess it made its point, but I'm not so sure that it will really make non-Christians flock to that church (or Christians...we are obviously not there!).
I saw your comment on Tales from the Homefront and just stopped in to say hello. (I'm a Maryland blogger, too.)
And I think our area definitely has some cheesy church signs (especially the one you saw), but I have to say that the South really wins that contest hands down.

Ha! I love church signs. Who comes up with them??
Just had a thought.....I'd love to read a church sign that Lance came up with....I bet he'd have some GREAT ones!
It's a good thing that LifePoint doesn't have one. :)
Hi Amy,
I had to come out of lurking for this post :)
I agree with Kathi 100%. I was so glad LifePoint didn't put one up.
Unbelievable! One of our biggest pet peeves--cheesy church signs!!!
I get my Soul R Power at Souls R Us along with a big block of Grade A cheese.
My word verification to post to this blog was "solrite" . . . interesting.
